• Setting up of Linde’s European Data Privacy Department (with both disciplinary & functional responsibilities)

• Management of Global Law Department’s on-site and cloud-based technical infrastructure: Data Protection Management Tool (“One Trust”), Compliance Learning Management System (“Sum Total”), Business Partner Compliance Tool (In-house platform), Document Management System (iManage)
• Management & budgeting of external resources: review of external counsel’s work outcomes, both domestic and foreign, and management of service providers, including budget control

Global Lead of Merger Control and competition law workstream for the merger of Linde Group and Praxair Inc. (2017 – 2019)

• Functional management of global, interdisciplinary teams; management of merger control filings in 23 jurisdictions, central contact person for the Project Management Office (PMO) reporting directly to the Executive Board and for external lawyers regarding all merger control and competition law-related issues

Compliance Officer & Senior Counsel Compliance (10/2016 – 09/2018)

• Advancement of Linde’s Group-wide Compliance Management System (CMS)
• Overhaul of Group-wide CMS handbook and development of Compliance Risk Management Concept for Linde’s Internal Control System (ICS)
